ICE 2009

Last year we went to see the ICE show, and we decided to make it tradition. So this year when it opened and we read that it was going to be featuring How The Grinch Stole Christmas we were itching to go. They take 2 million pounds of ice and transform 5,000 figures into masterpieces. They work 12 hour days for about a month. Pretty awesome!

What a difference a year makes, Miss Priss was almost 9 months old when we went last year and stayed all bundled up in her stroller. It's 9 degrees inside of ICE, but we happened to go on a colder night this year so as we entered they said it was actually 4 degrees. Burrrr.

We had a nice time, went down the amazing slide made completely of ice which is my favorite part (you can ride as many times as you want & if you lay back and hold your legs up you go super fast), shopped at the Christmas shop and got a keep sake Grinch ornament, walked around and enjoyed the beautiful Christmas decorations, stopped for coffee and the biggest cookie around (we had the chocolate chip last year, so this year it was peanut butter cup....yummmm) and YES I let Miss Priss have a bite... please enjoy the after effect below! She actually ran circles around us and into a restaurant waiting line where she asked some nice lady to pick her up...and she did! Such a ham!
